Rebekah's Evaluation

Introduction
  I'm Rebekah Edmondson and for my media coursework I have worked in a group with 3 other people, Phoebe Hindle, Emily Gover and Colette Olumide.

For our task we had to produce a;
- Music video
-A digi-pack

- An advert for a magazine.
We have all contributed equally towards our coursework as in our research and planning we all helped with group post and we also did individual post. You can tell who has done what as we have labeled each post with out names if we have contributed to them. Same with the production of the products, each of us had a go at filming and editing out products. Altogether I think we all contributed fairly to the tasks set.

Question 1:
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media texts?

Question 2:

Question 3:

Colette's Evaluation:

As a group of 4: me, Phoebe, Emily and Rebekah. We have produced for our media coursework;
  • a music video
  • a digipak
  • an advertisement for the album
We all shared out the tasks and work equally, both with the video and the ancillary tasks. On our research and planning some posts are group posts that we have all contributed to and then we have all done separate posts that show separate and individual research. We all took turns in filming the music video along with the editing as well as taking turns in the designing of our digipak and advertisement.

Phoebe's Evaluation.

  For my Media coursework, I have worked in a group with Rebekah, Colette and Emily. Together, we have produced:
  • a music video,
  • a digipak
  • an advertisement for the digipak.
Throughout our coursework, we have regularly updated this blog, working on posts as a group [tagged with all our names] and individually [tagged with just one name]. Upon completion of all our products, I will now evaluate various aspects of our final products.

QUESTION ONE: " In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media texts?"

In conclusion, I am very pleased with the overall results of our products. I think that we have produced three products that reflect the genre very well and are made to suit our target audience. Though there could be some changes to our products that were outlined in our audience feedback, overall we have produced three very professional looking products.
